Beadnell Bay Caravan Park occupies an enviable position
literally seconds from the sheltered sands of this
tiny fishing village.
The north of England possesses no better beach than
that lining Beadnell Bay. Situated 7 miles from the A1 this quiet and unspoilt
location is the ideal base for exploring the 'hidden kingdom' of Northumbria. If watersports make your holiday then windsurfing, scuba diving, sailing and body
boarding are all available. For those with less energy, perhaps a walk along the
sweeping arc of the bay to the nearby bird sanctuary or maybe a quick spin to
Bamburgh, Warkworth or Dunstanburgh to view the castles.
A little further up the coast lies Seahouses where you may take a boat trip to
the Farne Islands to see the birds and the seals. There's Bamburgh castle and
across the tidal causeway, Holy Island and Lindisfarne.
There are many fine and affordable restaurants, many of which serve local
produce, in the area and several friendly pubs where a warm welcome is assured.
We welcome touring caravans and we also have comfortable cottages for rent for
those in search of something a little more substantial and spacious. We take
trailer tents however we are sorry, we are not licensed for traditional
tents.
The site is open from April to the end of October.
Sorry! We don't have bars, amusement arcades or karaoke machines. What we do
have however, is our own football field available for residents to enjoy, also
we have a location second to none, for those who are looking for an
unspoilt, relaxed and traditional seaside holiday.
